Charlotte, NC Backyard Intimate Wedding | Lindsey and Jake

I had the pleasure of photographing Lindsey and Jake's backyard wedding in Charlotte, North Carolina.

“Jake and I are college sweethearts and have been together for 10.5 years. We love our two kitties, board games, and gardening.”

They spent months cultivating a stunning garden in their backyard, which served as the perfect backdrop for the day.  I was honored to document the love surrounding them as they exchanged vows before their closest friends and family.

The sun was shining brightly that day, casting a warm glow. They may be really warm summers here in North Carolina, but the light is unmatched. As I moved around the garden, I focused on capturing the small details that made their wedding unique, from the hand-picked flowers to the homemade cocktails.

Food and drinks and laughs were shared at the intimate back and front yard reception. I fell in love with the pizza that they chose to cater the wedding, King Of Fire Pizza. Go check them out if you haven’t already!
